How To Unblock Someone On Snapchat
If you had already blocked someone on the application and now have changed your mind, you must know that blocking on Snapchat hides you completely from them and them from you. So it is impossible to unblock someone by searching their profile and trying to unblock them from there.
Instead, you have to go to your own account settings and access the list of blocked users.
Step #1 Open the Application in your smartphone
Step #2 Go into your profile by clicking on the Bitmoji icon on the top left corner of the screen, this will show you your profile information.
Step #3 To go to the Settings screen, tap on the gear icon you will find at the top right corner
Step #4 When you scroll down in the list, you will find the Blocked Menu option, here you can see a list of people that you had blocked
Step #5 Look for the username of the person that you want to unblock, when you find it, tap on the X on the right side of that name.
Step #6 Confirm that you want to unblock that Snapchat user and they will disappear from the Blocked user list
Now you can search their profiles again and start communicating with them again.
Now that you have unblocked a user that was blocked before, what you must do now?
You see, blocking cuts off all the contacts between you and that user, they will be removed from your friends’ list. So, when you unblock them, you will have to add them again as a friend.
To do this, you simply have to search their name and use the Add button to add them to your friends’ list. Until both of you have added each other back to the friend list, any snaps that you send to each other will remain in pending mode.
